On Friday, April 6, the Council of Ministers approved the 2018-2020 Strategic Plan for Employment and Social Security Inspection.
This plan reinforces control over unsubstantiated temporary employment, part-time employment, and training contracts. Furthermore, gender discrimination will be prioritized, whereby potentiating supervision of the salary gap between genders and collective bargaining to avoid discriminatory clauses.
Other lines of action include greater control over hours worked and work time duration, the reinforcement of actions in connection with subcontractors and multi-service enterprises, the start-up of new Inspection units specializing in the prevention of occupational hazards, the supervision of the economy of platforms, and specific actions in connection with false free-lancers, interns, and non-work internships and employee training.
